In 1902, Cadillac founder Henry
M. Leland set out to
create a car that would exceed the standard. Cadillac brought the industry
such automotive breakthroughs as 10-horsepower engine in 1903, the
electric
starter, the quad headlamp system in 1957, the first mass-produced V-8
engine, AM/FM radio, and many other distinctive innovations. And
most
recently, the Magnetic Ride Control in 2002.
